RE: NONMEM installation error on OS X EI Capitan

I tried to reinstall NONMEM but with error. The following is how I did. 1) I prefer to take gcc/gfortran binaries from High Performance Computing for Mac OS X http://hpc.sourceforge.net/). The latest gcc/gfortran 5.2 for EI Capitan were installed by command sudo tar -xvf gcc-5.2-bin.tar.gz -C / and sudo tar -xvf gfortran-5.2-bin.tar.gz -C /. This step was successful. I tested in terminal by running gfortran -v, it showed the right returns. 2) Then I tried to install NONMEM by command sudo /bin/bash setup73 [NONMEM source path] [Target path] gfortran y /opt/local/bin/ar same rec i unzip http://nonmem73e.zip http://nonmem73r.zip. When it came to Step 10. Build NONMEM archive nm/nonmem.a, it showed like this: Step 10. Build NONMEM archive nm/nonmem.a NMTRAN.exe was not created Please look for error messages in /opt/nm73/compilemsgs.txt and /opt/nm73/finishmsgs.txt Installation Aborted The attachments are compilemsgs.txt and finishmsgs.txt. I'm not very clear about the error messages, it seems that there is still something wrong with gcc/gfortran. There is nothing different in setting gcc/gfortran this time compare to before. So I have no idea about this issue. Is there any experience about this problem? And any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Tingjie Tingjie Guo M.S.
