Abstract:
Nonparametric population modeling is often overlooked. In this session we
will discuss reasons to add it to the modeler's skill set.
The learning objectives are:
1) To understand random vs. fixed effects in NP modeling
2) To know benefits of unconstrained fitting
3) To explore the role of shrinkage in NP modeling
4) To summarize non-parametric central tendencies and variability with
confidence regions
5) To learn how NP models can be used for semi-parametric simulation
6) To optimize individual therapy with NP models
