missing table file

From: Jing Nie Date: January 20, 2010 technical
Dear NMusers, I'm trying to run a control stream using NONMEM6. Minimization was successful but there is one error message RMATX -1. I get the output file with obj values and other estimates but I don't have the table file. My table record is posted below: $TABLE ID TIME IPRE NOPRINT ONEHEADER FILE=1.fit I searched the archive and add the carriage return to the $table record and still got no tables. Is it has something to do with this error message? Any suggestion is appreciated. Jing This e-mail and any files transmitted with it, are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.?If you have received this e-mail in error, please reply to this message and let the sender know. _________________________________________________________________ Your E-mail and More On-the-Go. Jing, It appears that you ran this using Wings for NONMEM. Have you tried running using nmfe6 or nmfe7? Matt.

Matt, WFN would not affect whether NONMEM decides to output a table file. I have never seen the error message RMATX- 1. Some errors will stop NONMEM from producing a table file. Jing, There is no such thing as a MASM listing file. I suspect you are talking about the raw NONMEM output file with the extension .lst. Please look at the .lst file in the run folder. You should find more information there about the error and perhaps some indication of why it happened. Sometimes table file is not printed if/when covariance step fail. Try remove $COV statement; it could help to get $TABLE output. Also, sometimes FO method is completed successfully but POSTHOC fails; then table file is not produced either. But the error message seems to point to $COV step. Dear All, Thank you for all the inputs. I tried to change .fit to .tab, but no table file still. After Switching from FOCI to FO method with POSTHOC, I get the table output .
