Carlos, I don't have any references for drudevo other than their website, Here is a reference for my work http://www.springerlink.com/content/m7757p17u5058887/ and here is one for Ken Kowalski's paper http://www.springerlink.com/content/r20052w42710217k/ Kens program, last I checked, ran from SAS. and ! here is another for automated covariate search from Nichlas Jonsson and Mats Karlsson http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/klu/pham/1998/00000015/00000009/00304002;jsessionid=bfi62mem3haid.alexandra There also is an older program from Roberto Gomeni called Visual NM, or Visual NONMEM, not sure it is supported or even available anymore. A very innovative program at the time, probably the first to address running NONMEM in a sort of batch mode with some automation, but I don't think it did any model writing. I think all of these are more special purpose than what you're looking for, but I really don't know what that is. As Bill pointed out, PDx-Pop from Icon/globomax may be your best bet.
