But I am still mystified by the NOPREDICTION option. I have done some experimentation with a simple binary DV model. If I use $SIM and $EST in the same $PROB the estimation results are identical to those obtained from running $SIM ONLYSIM NOPREDICTION in one problem then running $EST on the output of the first problem. So why is NOPREDICTION needed with ONLYSIM? The DV values generated by both methods are the same.
