FORTRAN compilers on Pentium machines

Can you explain your strange remark that less RAM is better?
I would also caution about the use of f2c. I have used it to create a C
version of NONMEM that ran about half as fast as the original FORTRAN
code. That was on a Silicon Graphics irix4d MIPS etc processor.
If anyone has NONMEM running under OS/2 I have a benchmark problem that
has been tried on a range of machines thatI would like to try under
OS/2. Please contact me if you would be willing to help.

The above number is correct. Also you can try email to mark@microway.com
or fax (508) 746 4678.
I would be really interested to know if anyone has any recent experience
with their NDP Fortran 486 or even i860 compilers with NONMEM.
