Simulating large number of samples

When simulating an extensive sampling (1 individual, around 90 PK and 90 PD time-points within 7 days) I get the following message: 0TOT NO. OF PRED-DEFINED RECS IN BUFFER 6 IS LESS THAN NO. OF DATA RECS WITH SOME INDIVIDUAL SEE INSTALLATION GUIDE Cutting down the file to 20 PK and 20 PD time-points (within 2 days) results in successful simulation. It seems to me that there is some default setting that does not allow for too many data-points to be simulated. Is there any remedy for this that does not involve cutting down the number of generated data-points? Thanks! Toufigh Gordi

This is the second time I encounter problems related to the low default numbers in NONMEM. Although fixing them has been quite easy (once the instructions have been provided), I am in general very reluctant to change the codes myself. Are there any particular reasons why the default values are not increased in the newer copies of NONMEM? Toufigh _______________________________________________________
