Does anybody know of publications/references where NONMEM has been used to
model drug PK in a peripheral compartment (e.g, synovial fluid) where there
is the issue of relating plasma population PK to the peripheral compartment?
Your help is much appreciated

Previously, NONMEM has been used to model plasma and CSF concentrations in "Paracetamol plasma and cerebrospinal fluid pharmacokinetics in children. Br J Clin Pharmacol. 1998 Sep;46(3):237-43". This work was done by Anderson, Nick Holford and others. The authors have used a link compartment approach (with a partition coefficient) in relating the plasma and the csf compartments.
