Specific Responsibilities: * Provide expertise and consultation in the area of pharmacokinetics for large biologically-based molecules. * Design, analyze, interpret, report, and present pharmacokinetic data from preclinical and clinical studies, in accord with applicable regulatory guidelines. * Actively participate in the planning, implementing and monitoring of both internal and contracted pharmacokinetic studies. * Contribute to generating and reviewing documents such as investigator's brochures, INDs, and BLAs. * Provide scientific expertise and leadership on issues regarding pharmacokinetics and dose/regimen selection for preclinical pharmacology, toxicology and first-in-human studies. * Identify and investigate the relationship between pharmacokinetics and efficacy/safety biomarkers in preclinical studies, and advise on their relevance to the clinic. * Manage multiple projects across a broad pipeline of drug candidates. * Effectively work with multidisciplinary teams (toxicology, pharmacology, regulatory affairs, clinical development, research, CMC and others) and represent the preclinical department effectively on project teams. * Provide complex communications under tight timelines. Communicate relevant facts to management and project teams clearly and concisely. Serve as a facilitator to ensure that appropriate individuals are involved in key decision-making and interpretive efforts. * Prepare scientific publications and presentations for internal and external venues. * Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, biopharmaceutics, or related field * At least 3 years relevant pharmaceutical industry experience * Proficient in using WinNonlin, NONMEM, Adapt II, Madonna, MATLAB, or other relevant pharmacokinetic software for pharmacokinetic analysis and modeling * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Demonstrated written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills through publications, meeting abstracts and/or presentations, and regulatory filings * Experience in the pharmacokinetic evaluation of antibodies and other protein therapeutics is a plus * Experience with the population approach, complex PK/PD modeling, PBPK approaches and simulation is a plus * Experience in animal handling and dosing is a plus To Apply: Located in the historic City Light building on Seattle's Lake Union, ZymoGenetics offers competitive employment packages that include employer sponsored healthcare, paid time off for sick and vacation, 12 paid holidays, matching 401K program, stock options and tuition reimbursement to name only a few of our terrific benefits.
