From: "Gibiansky, Ekaterina" <gibianskye@globomax.com> Subject: meaning of LWS1 in NSIZES Date: Thu, 18 May 2000 14:33:56 -0400 Dear all, does anybody know what is the parameter LWS1 controlling? It is defined in NSIZES as "size of working space 1". How does it influence the memory allocation? How should it be related to the size of bufferes and maximum size of arrays defined in NSIZES? I am trying to increase all relevant buffer sizes to better utilize RAM. Any other suggestions beside increasing buffers 1 -11? Thank you. Usually the default value of 35000 is large enough, but you may need to increase this when using a very large number of parameters. NONMEM issues an error message to let you know when you've exceeded the default value. Details for defining the size are included as comments in ...\nmv\nm\chkpar.for. Changing this value should not improve RAM utilization. Marc ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Marc R.
