Kind regards, Frederike The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte, BfArM) is a scientific federal higher authority within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) located in Bonn, Germany The Research Department, Unit "Biostatistics and Special Pharmacokinetics" is looking for a Scientific Officer (Pharmacometrician) Salary scale 14 TVöD on a fixed-term basis until March, 4th, 2022, in a full-time position until August, 31st, 2018, and, subsequently in a half-time (50%) position. A conversion to a full-time position also from September 2018 onwards is intended. Tasks and Responsibilities Assessment, development and application of pharmacometric analyses in the context of national and European research projects, scientific advices and drug licensing procedures * Assessment of pharmacometric studies in the framework of na-tional and European licensing procedures * Methodological advice with respect to the design, conduct and evaluation of pharmacometric analyses in the context of national or European scientific advice procedures * Providing substantial pharmacometric support to other assessors * Participation in scientific working groups of the EMA, which are engaged in the field of pharmacometrics * Participation in the compilation of relevant guidelines * Collaboration on scientific publications Requirements * Master Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalent area of sci-ence * Proficient knowledge and experience in the field of population pharmacokinetics, PK/PD modeling and simulation, especially in applying nonlinear mixed effects models * Knowledge in clinical pharmacology and additional scientific ex-pertise in statistics * Experience in the development of clinical trials with respect to the use of population PK analyses and PK/PD modelling * Proficiency in the application of PMx software (e.g., NONMEM, WinNonlin or comparable software) Your Application Please send your application including CV and relevant supporting documents to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, Z11, Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger-Allee 3, D-53175 Bonn (alternatively: [email protected]) by August, 14th, 2017 quoting the reference number 54.01/17.
