I used the following command for installing the perl modules in order to automatically accept to install the (many) dependencies: PERL_MM_USE_DEFAULT=1 perl -MCPAN -e 'install My::Module' ... replacing My::Module the modules suggested for linux on http://psn.sourceforge.net/install.php . Following this, I could install the new PsN by running "perl setup.pl" with the suggested options. Since this system configuration is not officially listed as compatible (yet...? cf. http://psn.sourceforge.net/download.php ), I chose to not install 4.2 as the default PsN. This means that symlinks still point execute to /usr/bin/execute-3.7.6 (etc.). I assume that I can update the symlinks later by re-running the 4.2 installer, then selecting 4.2 as the default PsN.
