Global PK/PD and Pharmacometrics organization.
Position Title: Principal Research Scientist
Requisition ID: 9054BR, as well as EU position
Basic Qualifications:
* PhD in in Pharmaceutical Sciences or an associated scientific field,
with 6-12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Expertise in PK/PD, population, and literature modeling.
* Knowledge and experience in the area of PK/PD and its role in drug
research and development.
Key Deliverables:
* Develop PK/PD sections of program and product team plans, including
modeling and simulation strategies.
* Lead preparation of Phase I, II, and III protocols.
* Provide scientific interpretation of conventional and population
PK/PD analyses and preparation of study reports.
* Prepare INDs, IBs, CTDs, and other regulatory documents for
development and registration of new drugs.
* Interact with global regulatory agencies.
Position Title: Principal Research Scientist - Systems Pharmacology Modeler,
Oncology
Requisition ID: EU position
Basic Qualifications:
* PhD in in Pharmaceutical Sciences or an associated scientific field,
with at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Extensive experience in developing mechanism-based systems
pharmacology models in the area of oncology.
* Thorough understanding of the drug discovery and development process,
and the role mechanism-based models can play in this process.
Key Deliverables:
* Be the Lilly expert in systems pharmacology modeling in the area of
oncology, and ensure that our teams benefit from this methodology in making key
decisions.
* Identify areas of focus and develop key questions, assumptions, and
data sources to form the basis of mechanism-based models, in collaboration with
key members of discovery and development teams.
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with teams to design
optimized studies to generate data for systems pharmacology models.
* Communicate modeling results effectively and in a timely manner to
ensure data are available for quantitative decision making
* Be aware of the latest regulatory developments in the area of systems
pharmacology modeling and the use of this approach at all stages of discovery
and development in interactions with regulators around the globe.
