Description: Regeneron is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. In addition to ARCALYST (rilonacept) Injection for Subcutaneous Use, its first commercialized product, Regeneron has therapeutic candidates in Phase 3 clinical trials for the potential treatment of gout, diseases of the eye (wet age-related macular degeneration and central retinal vein occlusion), and certain cancers. Additional therapeutic candidates are in earlier stage development programs in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions, pain, cholesterol reduction, allergic and immune conditions, and cancer. This is a junior level position. This individual will collate LIMS data files, clinical data files, apply blinding codes and merge data sets in preparation for pharmacokinetic analysis. This individual will also need to 'clean' data sets and apple SAS algorithm to bring merged data sets in to NONMEM, and WinNonLin applications. This individual will also provide similar support to the Preclinical pharmacokinetic department. This individual will collate LIMS data files, clinical data files, apply blinding codes and merge data sets in preparation for pharmacokinetic analysis. Prepare 'clean' data sets and apply SAS algorithm to bring merged data sets in to NONMEM, and WinNonLin applications. This individual will also provide similar support to the Preclinical pharmacokinetic department. Conduct descriptive statistics (mean standard deviations, coefficient of variation). When available and time permits this individual will prepare report Tables and Figures as well as to provide similar assistance to the Pre-clinical Pharmacokinetic Team. Growth opportunity for this individual is in the area of Pharmacokinetics; both non-compartmental and compartmental, as well as in the use of NONMEM, pharmacokinetic simulation and population pharmacokinetics. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or Masters degree in Biostatistics or Statistics (math, physics and engineering may be considered) TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient in SAS programming. Proficient in Excel! and Excel macro generation. Knowledge in Sigma Plot and other graphing applications (e.g., Prism). Basic understanding of WinNonLin and NONMEM.
