If you type the compiler command from a DOS window you should get something like the following if the environment is set correctly: C:\> ifl.exe Intel(R) Fortran Compiler for 32-bit applications, Version 7.0 Build 20040611Z Package ID: w_fc_pc_8.0.050_pe052.1 Copyright (C) 1985-2004 Intel Corporation. All rights reserved. ifl: Command line error: no files specified; for help type "ifl -help" If the environment is NOT properly set, you will get something like: C:\> ifl.exe 'ifl.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
