Something I've wondered about as well. My view is that you can alway
convert an OMEGA to a THETA, as in
$PK
S1 = THETA(1) + ETA(1)
$THETA
(0,1)
$OMEGA
(0.3)
IS THE SAME AS
$PK
S1 = THETA(1) + THETA(2)*ETA(1)
$THETA
(0,1)
(0,0.3)
$OMEGA
(1,FIXED)
So, why not treat them the same?
