I have been using the Lahey FORTRAN 90 product for some years now without overmuch trouble. It produces 32bit DOS code and can be executed under WINDOWS 3.x and WIN95. I dont know about WINDOWS NT. I have not much experience with the Digital Visual Fortran compiler, but I have seen it giving trouble when used together with the Visual NONMEM shell. At that time I was helping a collegue to get started with NONMEM. So with any compiler you can have surprises occasionally.
