NONMEM in drug development

From rs@chdr.leidenuniv.nl Thu Jul 4 06:42:02 1996 Subject: NONMEM in drug development Dear fellow users, I was at the International Biometric Conference (Amsterdam) today where I was challenged by a top-consultant to the pharnmaceutical industry who claimed that the use of NONMEM in drug development was vastly overrated. He was willing to accept its use in dose-adjustment post-marketing, but he challenged me to come up with the title of a publication with data that were used for drug approval where use of NONMEM had been necessary/essential. Now I know that NONMEM is used for instance in combining results from different trials, but is any of this ever published? I think a list of these publications would be very useful in convincing `my' consultant and many like him of the use of NONMEM in drug development.
