I'll get very soon a new computer (Toshiba) under Windows XP.
Does anybody know if there is any problem with NONMEM under Fortran
Powerstation, and Visual-NM ?
I tknow that there are some problems with Windows millenium, but what about
Windows XP ?

Although we have not tested NONMEM and/or Fortran compilers under Windows XP
yet, the periodical literature to date suggests that there should be no
problem. XP appears to be based on 2000 and NT technology (platforms on
which NONMEM and the compilers that we have tested run successfully).
Millenium, on the other hand was derived from Win95/98 technology.

I have NONMEM under Windows XP for 3 weeks in a new Compaq computer.
All the test so far has no problem.

I have been told that future online-updates of XP will permit Microsoft to
upload information about your hard drive contents. I have concerns about
patient data stored therein. Is this perceived as a problem by others in
clinical research?

As I indicated earlier, I have no problem with NONMEM under Windows XP.
However, The nmhelp function do have problem. I tried to re-install the
help. The problem is still there. Please see error msg below.

Paul,
If you have a reference as to where you heard/saw this info, I would be very
interested. My understanding has always been that data submitted for the
upgrade process is not of this type.
