Dear Colleagues
ASoP's mission and vision includes the intention to integrate local
activities and initiatives ongoing in the field of pharmacometrics. For this
reason the ASoP board decided to sponsor future MOSAiC (Modeling and
Simulation Applications in Clinical Pharmacotherapy). The current MOSAiC
steering committee will become the steering committee for local ASOP events
in NY/NJ/PA. ASoP will take care of the registration and funding and ASoP
members will have a reduced registration fee for these ASoP-sponsored
events.
Similar to previous MOSAiC events local ASoP events in NY/NJ/PA will (i)
provide a regional forum for information exchange in an relaxed and social
atmosphere, (ii) offer an avenue for critical thought, community leadership,
and knowledge advancement, (iii) strive to take an active leadership role in
increasing the acceptance of pharmacometrics (also called modeling and
simulation) as a critical decision making tool for facilitating drug
development, approval, and rational drug use.
Please mark your calendar for two local ASOP-sponsored events and register
for the upcoming event in Bridgewater, NJ.
