The Pharmacometrics and System Pharmacology group of the University of
Navarra (www.unav.edu/psp) is happy to announce their 6th Summer
Course on Quantitative Pharmacology, this year also run in Spanish:
Learn to understand and build drug-disease models with autonomy. This
course is accredited by the Continuous Training Commission for health
professionals.
The course is open to everybody with interest in understanding the
dynamics and variability in drug response from a quantitative
perspective, no prior modelling knowledge is needed although a basic
understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics is
advantageous. The course will consist of lectures covering the
principles of Pharmacometrics and dedicated sessions to key
pharmacological areas, including hands-on computer exercises using
MONOLIX and interactive discussions (NONMEM support will be provided
on the premise that the student has its own installation and license).
A detailed programme overview will be shortly provided.
