Senior Modelling Expert, Xenologiq Ltd. Xenologiq Ltd http://www.xenologiq.com/ ) is a UK based consulting company, focused on the impactful application of PKPD modelling and systems pharmacology in drug discovery. Due to a rapid expansion of our portfolio, we are seeking Ph.D, or equivalent level, modelling experts who share our passion for using quantitative approaches to understand complex drug discovery questions. Our modellers work in close collaboration with other XQ staff and clients to support optimal decision making from the pre-clinical to the clinical phases of drug discovery. Activities can include; population PK and PKPD modelling, translational science, application of physiologically based PK models, development of disease models, dose prediction and systems pharmacology. Candidates must fulfil the following criteria; Technical * Significant experience in PKPD and/or systems modelling for drug discovery teams. * Probably PhD life sciences or maths/physics/engineering or PharmD or equivalent post graduate experience. * High level understanding of PKPD, pharmacology and biology. * Very familiar with NONMEM, Matlab/simbiology or other. * Ideally good publication record in modelling (PKPD and/or systems biology). Team working * Good interpersonal skills. Personal * Can be virtual or based Canterbury, UK. * Ability to interact and communicate effectively in different settings (in person, via telecommunication media, written, etc). * Self-reliant. Other skills * Computer literate and familiar with communications technology. Role * Responsible for delivery of technical models/solutions. * Work with project lead and client on questions of interest. * Provide general expert technical input across XQ portfolio.
