THE COMPANY
Roivant Sciences is a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on
realizing the full value of promising drug candidates and systematically
reducing the time, cost and risk of delivering new drugs to market. Roivant
aims to develop under-resourced or deprioritized drug candidates across
therapeutic areas of significant medical need.
Roivant is rapidly expanding its pipeline and the number of subsidiaries (or
"Business Units") around therapeutic areas of interest. There are currently six
"Vant" subsidiaries in areas that include dermatology, dementia, rare disease,
and women's health (www.roivant.com).
THE ROLE
Roivant's employees are its most important assets. We believe strongly in the
importance of building balanced teams, combining those with experience in the
biopharmaceutical industry with "natural athletes" who come from other
industries - such as finance, consulting and technology - in order to challenge
the status quo and shape the future of both our business and the pharmaceutical
industry.
We are seeking exceptional talent for the role of Director, Clinical
Pharmacokinetics. The individual will provide a strategic role in the Clinical
Pharmacology department assessing and determining pharmacokinetic (PK) programs
and analysis techniques for use in clinical and nonclinical studies. He/she
will also have a significant role in developing new capabilities for the
Clinical Pharmacology department within Roivant. This individual will be
responsible for clinical pharmacology and PK support across therapeutic areas
and all phases of clinical development, including development and execution of
clinical pharmacology plans. The employee will be an integral member of the
project team using exploratory data analyses techniques, modeling, and
simulation to accelerate development and support dosing, study designs, and
development plans. The employee will perform PK analyses or provide scientific
oversight of PK analyses performed at CROs. There will be significant writing
and review of regulatory documents, protocols, and study reports. The employee
will also assist in due diligence efforts for potential acquisition of new
products and/or technologies.
We are looking for a top quality individual with the following characteristics:
* Deeply motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
* Desire to work in a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
* Unrelenting dedication to delivering results and a desire to shape the
strategic goals of the business
* Ability to overcome ambiguity and challenge the status quo
* Willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
Requirements for consideration include:
* MD, PharmD, or PhD degree
* Minimum 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry conducting and
managing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses
* Experience includes a clinical pharmacology leadership role on a drug
development project team
* Proven track record of clinical pharmacology/pharmacokinetics support for
