Icon Development Solutions has begun the distribution of NONMEM(r) VI 2.0. Shipment will be made to the contact person of record for current licensees. All known NONMEM(r) VI 1.0 - 1.3 bug fixes have been incorporated into NONMEM VI 2.0. New features in NONMEM(r) VI 2.0 include: 1) Unix SETUP now does a complete installation (similar to CDSETUP6.BAT) and both have an new option for recompiles. 2) The default boundary test is user-selectable. 3) A new NM-TRAN control record, $PRIOR, facilitates the implementation of the PRIOR routine. 4) A new PREDPP feature permits computation of steady state as an initial condition when ADVAN6, ADVAN8 or ADVAN9 is used. 5) Derivatives wrt eta and epsilon, used to calculate CWRES values, can now be tabled using abbreviated instead of verbatim code. 6) Some variables in SIZES have larger values. 7) Under certain conditions NM-TRAN will now permit TABS's in control streams and data files 8) Up to 160 characters per line are permitted in the NM-TRAN control stream. 9) Up to 50 pred-defined items can be displayed in all tables and scatterplots, and a single table may display up to 54 items with NOAPPEND. 10) The default maximum number of calls used during an integration interval is now 1000000. An even larger value can be provided in SIZES. 11) NM-TRAN messages are now copied to the NONMEM report file when NMFE6 or NMFE6.BAT is used. 12) The HTML help files now have hyperlinks between help items, and also between help items and (new) HTML-version of the NONMEM Users Guides 13) NONMEM Users Guides III and VIII and "Introduction to Version VI" have been updated for NONMEM VI 2.0.
