Principal Scientist - Modelling and Simulation/Pharmacometrics
The pharmacometrics team within the Clinical
Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics Group is seeking to recruit a M&S
scientist.
The group offers a stimulating environment for exploring, learning and
utilising state-of-the-art quantitative data analysis methodologies to
improve the efficiency of drug development.
Your tasks
* Performance and management of high quality
pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic analyses
* Contribution to the development and application of clinical
trial simulation in order to devise and optimise future studies
* Development and validation of models relating
pharmacokinetics to (genetic) biomarkers, surrogate endpoints and clinical
endpoints
* Collaborate with Project Clinical Pharmacokineticists,
Biostatisticians, Bioinformatics scientists, Biomarker experts
* Evaluation and implementation of new data analysis tools to
facilitate in-silico drug development
Your profile
* Ph.D. in a relevant area (e.g.
Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Biostatistics, Systems Biology) and
modelling experience
* Knowledge of modelling and simulation software programs such
as NONMEM, SĀPlus, SAS, Trial Simulator
Personally you are open to new challenges, self-motivated, flexible in mind
and enjoy target and strategy oriented work. You have the ability to work
independently as well as a dedicated teamplayer and good organisational and
writing skills. Additionally good communication skills and fluent English,
written and spoken, are required.
