Postdoc Fellow Position for Pharmacometrics in PK, Modeling & Simulation
Centocor R&D, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies,
is recruiting for a Post Doctoral Fellow, located in Chesterbrook, PA.
Centocor, Inc. develops innovative biomedicines. The world leader in
monoclonal antibody production and technology, Centocor has brought
critical biologic therapies to patients suffering from debilitating
immune disorders.
This Postdoctoral Fellow will participate in modeling and simulation
application and research initiatives to support clinical drug
development. Depending on candidate's background, work may include
population PK modeling, PK/PD modeling, disease progression, clinical
trial simulation, and simulation studies to evaluate modeling
strategies. Work in a congenial group having PK as well as statistical
expertise.
A doctoral degree (Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D.) is required in
pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, biostatistics or
related discipline at the time of appointment. Prior experience with
NONMEM is desirable. Knowledge with other PK-PD modeling and simulation
tools, programming/statistical tools such as S-PLUS/R, or knowledge
related to biological drug development would be a plus. Motivation and
teamwork ability are expected. Good communication skills are necessary.
