Dear all,
We have an open postdoctoral position for a modeling scientist. The mission is
to develop new predictive models for low-grade glioma, a brain tumor
characterized by a slow evolution and prolonged response to chemotherapy and
radiotherapy. Based on a previously developed model (Ribba et al. Clinical
Cancer Reserch 2012), the objectives of the project are:
- to evaluate the relevance of using tumor volume information versus mean
diameter
- to couple the dynamical model of tumor size to overall survival
The work will be performed in collaboration with the department of neurological
surgery at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and is in the
framework of the DDMoRe project (www.ddmore.eu).
The position is located in Grenoble, France at INRIA ( http://www.inria.fr/en)
for a duration of 18 months. INRIA is dedicated to fundamental and applied
research in information and communication science and technology. By playing a
leading role in the scientific community in the field and being in close
contact with industry, INRIA is a major participant in the development of ICST
in France.
Do not hesitate to contact me for further information and details.
Kind regards,
Benjamin
