Malaria still kills approximately 2,000 people each day, mainly children under
the age of five. Do you want to have an impact on this devastating disease?
The WorldWide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN), in collaboration with
the Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU), is looking for a
bright and enthusiastic scientist with a PhD in pharmacokinetics or related
area. You will work at MORU in Bangkok and will be responsible to the Head of
Clinical Pharmacology (MORU) and Head of Pharmacometrics (WWARN), Prof Joel
Tarning.
The position will primarily involve developing pooled
pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models utilising data from the WWARN repository
to optimise treatment regimens for malaria.
