Biogen Idec
Biogen Idec is seeking an individual to join our growing group of
scientists who are responsible for development related PK/PD and Drug
Disposition activities. The position will be based in Cambridge,
Massachusetts. Responsibilities will encompass preclinical and clinical
activities. The individual will be engaged in both small molecule and
large molecule programs.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-10 years of development experience in
either or both small molecule or large molecule development. Familiarity
with PK/PD data analysis and modeling and simulation techniques is highly
desired; experience in project team settings is required. The successful
candidate will be working closely with our Bioanalytical, Toxicology,
Biostatistics and Clinical experts and will be recognized as a
collaborative team player who brings scientific excellence and dedication
to drug development. The candidate will also be comfortable working with
external investigators and have the personal attributes that are needed
for successful interactions with regulatory agencies.
Developing and successfully executing development plans are the primary
functions of this role. The candidate will also generate regulatory
submissions, internal position papers and publications that reflect
insightful, cutting edge analysis. In this role, the successful candidate
will be a visible team member and will be called upon to serve as a
scientific advisor for senior management.
The candidate who fills this position will work to ensure that studies are
conducted in a timely fashion and that data of the highest quality are
generated and properly analyzed and interpreted. As a member of multiple
project teams, the successful candidate will effectively manage time and
resources.
