Job Title: Pharmacometry Summer Intern
EMDSerono is recruiting for a Pharmacometry Summer Intern to be located
inBillerica (Boston), MA. EMD Serono is the North American biopharma brand of

in neurology,oncology, immuno-oncology and immunology as R&D focus areas.
Pharmacometry department of EMD-Serono, part ofGED/QPD/QP, contributes to
clinical development efficiency by providing coreexpertise in modeling and
simulation for the quantification of the relationshipbetween dose, exposure and
response, and factors affecting its variability.
The Pharmacometry summer intern will:

Utilize modeling and simulationanalysis to support model informed drug
discovery and development.

Collaborate with global pharmacometry, quantitativepharmacology, clinical and
biostatistics teams.

Gain experience in advanced population PK and PKPD analyses andunderstanding
the use of pharmacometry analysis as part of a drug developmentprogram.

Work at US R&D Headquarters of EMDSerono with stimulating work environment for
approximate internship duration range of around 3-4months.
Compensation for the internship will beper company standard.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or Masters degree program in
Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics, applied
Mathematics/Statistics or a related field.
- Experience with NONMEM, R, SAS, Matlab, XPose, PsN, MONOLIX, SIMCYP, or
similar pharmacometric modeling and simulation software is strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical results and details effectively with
scientists and clinicians is required.
- Ability to be a team player and work cross functionally is also required.
