Tasks & Responsibilities
As a team leader within Global Pharmacometrics (PMx), you ensure not only the development and implementation of model-informed drug discovery and development (MID3) strategies for clinical drug development projects. You will also be responsible for an appropriate planning, execution, and reporting of a wide variety of pharmacometric analyses on a clinical trial and project level by your team. The development and implementation of innovative pharmacometrics approaches for supporting decision ma-king in clinical drug development and regulatory approval will also be your key responsibility
You lead employees efficiently from the onboarding process, to the regular performance assessment with constructive feedback and fostering further development.
You set directions and standards while supervise processes: After careful observation, you will launch and implement changes to improve procedures constantly.
You will contribute to and maintain an open atmosphere within our attractive working environment. That means you will set an example for a performance-based team culture with clear accountabilities and a sense of urgency for achieving results. As member of the PMx leadership team, you significantly contribute to the development and implementation of global PMx goals and strategies.
In your leadership function, you will represent global PMx at relevant internal and external meetings and promote PMx and MID3.
On top, you will act as a Project Pharmacometrician. Therefore, you will develop our PMx strategy, perform the respective analyses and represent PMx as author of reports and other regulatory relevant documents in project teams and regulatory meetings.
Requirements
Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Medicine or Pharma-cometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics or equivalent area of focus with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Pharmacometrics in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, or academia or
MD/PhD in from an accredited institution in Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics or relevant area of focus with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Pharmacometrics in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, or academia
Successful track record of managing and developing direct reports
Experienced in applying PMx software, e.g., NONMEM, Monolix, R, SAS, PKSim, MATLAB or SimBiology
Proficient knowledge in clinical pharmacology, clinical drug development, MID3, and regulatory guidelines
Excellent communication skills and willingness to continuous personnel and subject-specific development
Enthusiastic personality, with the constructive willingness to succeed with the team
