The Pediatric Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Research Center at the University Childrens Hospital in Basel, Switzerland has an opening for a PostDoc position in Pharmacometric Modeling.
The successful candidate will work in hypo- and hyperthyroidism modeling in newborns, children and adults with the goal to support individualized dosing recommendations. This project is part of a close collaboration with Endocrinology and Mathematical Departments. We further offer the opportunities (i) to get involved in coordination of clinical studies, and/or (ii) to collaborate with a Computational Systems Biology Group and/or a Machine Learning Group.
Excellent knowledge in NLME (NONMEM or Monolix) and R is required. Additional skills such as machine learning, software development and interest in optimal dosing algorithms are an advantage. The candidate should be self-motivated, career-oriented and interested in a multidisciplinary work environment. Anticipated start would be June/July 2019.
