It is with sadness that I pass on the news I received from Paul Williams'
wife on Monday that Paul, a good friend and a brother, died last week. When
I spoke with Debbie, Paul's wife, she said that they were determining the
cause of death.
Paul just retired last summer from University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA
where he was a professor, and he also lived in Stockton, CA. He had a great
positive impact on students, peers, and friends alike. He teamed up with me
to edit the first edition of the book, Pharmacometrics: The Science of
Quantitative Pharmacology. I, and, I believe, most of you who knew him will
miss him.
Funeral arrangements are being made, and I am yet to confirm the exact date
for his burial.
