PAGE 2009: First announcement

From: Rik Schoemaker Date: December 19, 2008 event
The eighteenth PAGE meeting will take place from 23-26 June, 2009 in St. Petersburg, Russia. It will be hosted by the St. Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University and will be held at the Hotel St. Petersburg. Preliminary information can be found at the PAGE web-site: www.page-meeting.org PAGE meetings take place in an informal atmosphere with vivid scientific discussion. The meeting will start with the Welcome reception on Tuesday evening, June 23. The scientific programme will start on Wednesday morning, June 24, and will end at noon on Friday, June 26. Participants are encouraged to attend all conference days and present their work in the form of an oral presentation or poster. Participants are explicitly encouraged to contribute with work that focusses on applications in clinical practice. For the first time in PAGE history, virtually all participants will be required to obtain a visa for visiting St. Petersburg. As the formalities and legal procedures require time, all deadlines have been brought forward by two weeks. Upon confirmation of your registration for the meeting, you will be able to contact the local event organiser who will take care of accommodation and all other event arrangements, including assistance with obtaining a visa. The PAGE organising committee explicitly recommends that PAGE participants use these services instead of making their own private travel arrangements. Online registration at the PAGE web site will start on January 15, 2009. Registration opens at 9:00 AM Central European Time (GMT+1). ---------------------------- This e-mail message has been scanned for Viruses by Norman Virus Control and it's Content by MailMarshal
