JOB DESCRIPTION
The Centre of Excellence in Pharmacokinetics (CentEx PK) at Servier has opening positions for pharmacometricians in early phase PKPD (from Research to phase 1 included), late phase PKPD (from phase 2 to registration), and in Physiological Based PK modelling (PBPK).
The candidates will be full-time dedicated to modelling activities to support pre-clinical and clinical development programmes. The candidates will have strong relationships with other modellers in pharmacometrics (i.e. PBPK, early phase and late phase popPK & PKPD modelling) and stakeholders within and outside Servier (i.e. clinicians, pharmacologists, partners, CRO etc...).
Challenges
The candidates will be responsible for:
Defining the modelling strategy in collaboration with other project members.
Study design, data analysis plan, modelling & simulation, and to communicate outcomes and give recommendations.
Presenting modelling activities to internal/external experts in modelling.
Candidates at senior level will also participate to:
The improvement of modelling tools and methodological development within the CentEx PK.
Junior mentoring in pharmacometrics.
The promotion of modelling activities within the Servier group.
Skills and Experience
You hold a PhD in a relevant area (PKPD/PBPK modeling, Biological Sciences, Pharmacology, Statistics, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other related discipline). You are fluent in English, both orally and written, and have good communication and presentation skills. The pharmacometrics group at Servier is located in France (Suresnes near Paris and Orlans). Working knowledge of French is not a requirement.
Several positions are open and we are looking for junior (with a first experience in applying Pharmacometrics in a professional environment) and senior (with at least 5 years in a pharmaceutical company) scientists.
The positions in early phase PKPD and late phase PK/PD require a good knowledge of modelling software (such as NONMEM or MONOLIX), and visualisation tools (R, SAS).
The position in PBPK requires a good knowledge of PBPK software such as SimCYP, GastroPlus or PKSim.
You have an analytical mind-set and a strong desire to further develop and apply modelling and simulation in drug development. You appreciate working in teams of scientists with different backgrounds and the opportunity of expanding your network at an international level.
