Dear all, The department of Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology has an open position for a modelling scientist, preferably with PK/PD modelling experience. We are based in Copenhagen and support the entire Novo Nordisk development portfolio, with population PK/PD modelling and simulation. Challenges As modelling scientist you will have an important role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk, taking part in planning, conducting and reporting of population PK/PD and exposure-response analyses at all stages of drug development. You will also take part in developing innovative solutions for clinical trial designs, strategies for optimising the use of quantitative analyses to answer key drug development questions and contribute to regulatory documents. Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Discovery, Preclinical and Clinical Development will be an integrated part of your work. Qualifications You hold a university degree in a relevant area (Statistics, Engineering, Pharmacy, or other), preferably with a supplementary Ph.D. You are fluent in English both orally and written. Preferably, you have several years of industry experience in applied statistics, including mixed effects modelling, as well as pharmacokinetics. Moreover, you have a good knowledge of modelling software such as S-PLUS and NONMEM. But you may also have a more broad pharmaceutical or engineering background, with extensive training in statistics and mathematical modelling, combined with a strong desire to further develop and apply these skills in drug development. You will appreciate an informal atmosphere, and will act as a dedicated team player. As your colleagues will come with different academic backgrounds, good communication skills are essential. We offer an exciting position in an experienced team with great opportunities for professional and scientific development. Contact For further information, please contact Steen H. Ingwersen on +45 30 79 48 47. Applicants are requested to submit via www.novonordisk.com/job. _____________________ Steen H.
