NONMEM testing set

From: Bonate, Peter Subject: NONMEM testing set Date: Thu, 17 Jan 2002 07:57:15 -0600 Dear All, One of the things that has always interested me is the consistency in NONMEM results across platforms and the inter-modeler reliability at coming up with similar models. I have a data set that I can put together and share with the world. The data set is a data rich data set from about 16 volunteers with about 20 samples per patient. There is about a dozen covariates. It's a relatively small data set. I am wondering if there is any interest among modelers to independently model this data set, compare the results across modelers and platforms, and then publish the results. All results will be confidential. What we will be examining is comparison of models in terms of consistency, numerical consistency, and the time it takes to develop the model. If you are interested in participating let me know. If we have enough people interested we can move this idea forward. I'm thinking that in terms of timelines we would have the models developed by the end of the year, model comparisons done by 1Q03, and submit for publication 2Q03 or 3Q03. One thing that would need to be worked out is authorship. If you have any ideas how to handle this please let me know. Lastly, DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL BY REPLYING. REPLY TO MY EMAIL AD DRESS BELOW. Thanks, pete Peter L.
