Dear colleagues,
I am learning NONMEM. I find that NMUsers is a best resource. I compiled
the website into two .chm files (from95 and prior95). .chm file format
(Compiled Help Manual) is very easy to search and can be read offline. These
properties are very valuable to learning and working on NONMEM. If you need
these two files, please email me and make sure that your email-box is large
enough to accept them (95+, 4.22MB and 95-, 290KB).
Cheers!

Hi all,
This is a great idea - while the NMusers archive is useful, it is sorely
in need of a new search engine. However, these compiled help files will
gradually lose their usefulness if they aren't regularly updated - are
there any plans for this?
Best regards

Ma,
Thanks very much for taking the time to do this. It is indeed a helpful
resource to have an offline version of the nmusers archive.
I have taken a quick look at the way it works and would like to suggest that
you add the date the thread started to the subject line shown in the index
search results.
I also looked for a thread which started in September this year 'bug/feature in
$AES'. I could find several entries when I searched for $AES but this thread
did not appear. How up to date is your chm file?
For the folks at Cognigen:
I tried looking for the '$AES' with the cognigen search engine. It returned a
rather strange list of inaccessible pages but no direct links to any threads
e.g. (index.html is the only text with a URL link)
File Name:index.html
Subject: NONMEM User Archive: by thread

Dear NMUsers community,
Cognigen assumes no ownership of the e-mail posts contained in the
archive or their content. The archival of these posts is performed and
housed on our website simply as a service to the community.
Furthermore, we have been working on an archive upgrade for several
weeks and plan to complete it shortly. We are also looking into the
search engine issues Nick has pointed out. These are likely due to the
modifications that we have been working on. I apologize for any
inconvenience this issue may have caused users attempting to search
during this time. Despite the possible appearance of index-type pages
as a search result, the typical e-mail threads obtained following a
search can be found further down the page. We will post a message
regarding the resolution of these search engine issues and any changes
to the search features as soon as they are available.
Kind regards,
Jill

Dear Nick, Bill,
and Justin,
I did nothing
more than Cognigen had done. All of the posts were from NONMEM UsersNet
Archive ( http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/nm/ )
. As Nick pointted out, there are some broken links. These also keep
accordance with the Archive. The search function is provided by .chm
file itself.
If Cognigen
update the Archive, I can update the file. All rights belong to
Cognigen. If Cognigen permitts and users like to add some properties,
for example, time index (as Nick pointted out), category index, I am
glad to do it for NONMEM users.
By the way,
.chm seems not work on some machines. Maybe, it is because of Internet
Explorer.

I google some
posts on this topic. I hope that these links are useful.

Dear all,
Hi,
A better version of nmusers.chm is available on ftp://ftp.globomaxnm.com/Public/nonmem/chelp/
update:
1) Chinese Font in the previous files is removed.
2) 95+ and 95- are combined together.
3) A better Search panel and Favorites panel.
You can open .chm file by Double Click on Windows System, because this format is linked with hh.exe. If you are working on a Linux/Unix/Mac system, maybe you need to find a viewer. Many .chm viewers are free.
Some symbols in directory name, such as ", #, etc, maybe bring troubles. Please check it, if the file does not work on your computer.
Best regards,
Ma
