Gillespie, Ph.D. & Staff Location: Tariffville, CT Dates: June 6-8, 2007 This course will focus on practical, hands-on implementation of Bayesian PKPD models using WinBUGS/OpenBUGS and R. 2. PK-PD Modeling and Simulation Series (Part 1): Basic Skills and Concepts with NONMEM® Instructor: Marc R. Gastonguay, Ph.D. & Staff Location: Tariffville, CT Dates: June 11-12, 2007 This course covers basic theory and hands-on implementation of population nonlinear mixed effects modeling. 3. Introduction to R for Pharmacometrics Instructor: William Knebel, PharmD, PhD, Timothy Bergsma, PhD & Staff Location: Live Web-Cast Dates: April 30 - May 11, 2007 and May 14-25, 2007. This course is a pre-requisite for the PK-PD Modeling and Simulation Series and aims to introduce students to basic features of the R software, with specific hands-on examples applying R scripting to pharmacometric applications.
