Patient is receiving an infusion of say, 100mg for a duration of 30 minutes. Also, 3 boluses of 10 mg. each of the same drug are administered at an interval of 5 minutes.DV measurement begins30 seconds after the infusion. Do I use EVID data-item to indicate the boluses or ADDL and II data items for this problem? Which one of this is best suitable to reflect concentrations from a background infusion, intermittently supplemented by a bolus? I shall be grateful for your thoughts and suggestions on this. Thanks Ram

It is also better to check this with simulations. Venkatesh Atul Bhattaram Pharmacometrics DPE-1, OCPB CDER, FDA. _______________________________________________________
