------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------- Midwest Users Forum for Population Approaches in Data Analysis *** 15th Annual Meeting Call for papers *** *** 2 - 4 MAY 2007 in Cincinnati Ohio hosted by ICON *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------- MUFPADA provides an informal forum for discussion of diverse pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses using population methods. In addition to providing a forum for discussion of methodology and specific successes and failures, the sessions provide an opportunity to discuss the role pharmacostatistical modeling and simulation should play in drug development and registration. PK/PD modelers, pharmacometricians, statisticians, and allied scientists from industry, academia and the FDA have contributed to the dynamic interplay of previous meetings. This year's theme is Categorical Data Analysis, with the keynote presentation by Dr. Adrian Dunne (University College, Dublin). Attendees are encouraged to submit a title for a podium presentation of ~30 minutes, allowing an additional 15-30 minutes for discussions. Presentations of work in progress are welcome. Please provide a title and brief description of the presentation no later than March 15th, 2006 to Dr. Rob Johnson, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals 8700 Mason Montgomery Road. Mason, OH 45040 (513) 622-1571 Register online at www.MUFPADA.org. A 1.5-day workshop led by Dr. Adrian Dunne on categorical data analysis will be offered (at additional cost) on Wednesday (2 May) and Thursday morning, prior MUFPADA commencing at 1:00 Thursday afternoon. Course lectures will examine individual subject or population modeling, analysis, and simulation of binary or categorical data. The emphasis will be applied, rather than theoretical, with use of example data sets and case studies. Methods will be demonstrated in detail using NONMEM and PDx-POP software.
