Dear NMusers,
I am about to develop a model for an endogenous hormone that induces
spontaneous smooth muscle contraction as part of its normal physiological role.
The study design for analysis consists of the exogenously produced hormone
administered via the IV route to augment the spontaneous smooth muscle
contraction for a therapeutic purpose. The pharmacodynamic response after
exogenous administration of the hormone is measured as an electromyography
(EMG) trace.
I would like to know if anyone has previously developed a PK/PD model for
smooth muscle contraction, using EMG data as the PD measurement?
