Join the CPT:PSP Webinar on Model Evaluation

From: Lena Friberg Date: November 24, 2017 event
Register for the CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology Webinar "Model Evaluation of Continuous Data Pharmacometric Models: Metrics and Graphics" Speaker: France Mentré, MD, PhD, University of Paris Diderot Date and Time: Monday, December 4, 2017, 12:00 pm ET Moderator: Piet van der Graaf, PhD, PharmD, Editor-in-Chief, PSP Description: Join moderator Piet van der Graaf, PhD, PharmD, Editor-in-Chief of CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1002/(ISSN)2163-8306, in welcoming France Mentré, MD, PhD, from University Paris Diderot as she describes the first published http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/psp4.12161/full on model evaluation in nonlinear mixed effect models (NLMEM), from the ISoP Model Evaluation Group. This tutorial was developed by an international group of experienced pharmacometricians from various backgrounds (academia, industry, and regulatory agencies). It describes a core set of graphical tools for evaluation of NLMEM for continuous data and provides guidance, especially to beginner modelers, on how they are meant to be used. This presentation will include a description of the different metrics, an illustration about their graphical use on 'true and 'misspecified' models, and a discussion of their pros and cons. The use of each graph is illustrated via two case examples, which were chosen to illustrate the properties and behaviors of different evaluation tools in different situations.
