The Centre of Excellence in Applied and Industrial Mathematics (MITACS), in
collaboration with GRUM (Groupe de Recherche Universitaire sur le Médicament)
and the Faculty of Pharmacy (Université de Montréal, Jean-Coutu Bldg., Room
S1-111), will organize this August 18 -22 2008, an International Summer School.
This summer school provides an interface between physiological concepts,
model-based approaches and data analysis in biopharmaceutical sciences. A
special emphasis will be placed on applications to clinical drug trials and
development through different phases. The course is a combination of
theoretical lectures to provide background concepts and concrete applications
using typical software. Very well experienced scientists, working in academia
and industry, will deliver the lectures.
