the NIH and NSF either as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator. Assist
with the translation of scientific knowledge to clinical care that is
evidence-based and can be implemented clinically. Support research endeavors
within the department of Research in Patient Services. Develop protocols for
prospective pharmacogenetics/genomics testing and coordinate the implementation
of such protocols with outside support. Act as a liaison between the Genetic
Pharmacology Service and Research in Patient Services to facilitate development
new drug-gene panels. Participate in the development of a clinical system for
the reporting of pharmacogenetics/genomics test results into the electronic
medical record.
