Error Message: MAXIMUM NO. OF EVALUATIONS OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS EXCEEDED

Dear All, This is an old topic, which has been discussed a couple of times. Ref: 1: http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/nm/99aug072000.html 2: http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/nm/98oct071998.html Sometimes this error message can go away with the the verbatim code. However, recently I have met this error a couple of times even with the verbatim code. I would like to pursue the approach (dummy data points) as Dr. Karlsson suggested, and look forward to getting some inputs for this method (e.g. how many points should we add into the original dataset?) In addition, if there is any other approach to deal with this error messages (in NM VI or NM VII ?), it will be greatly appreciated. BTW, in the original verbatim code, one varibale is named as "IMAX". If an EMAX model or IDR model is used, your "IMAX" in PD model should be avoided. :( I hope to get some insightful comments from this community in terms of this error message. Thanks a lot, Jian # GO GATORS #
