Does NONMEM deal with more than one DV?

From: Jun Shen Date: January 28, 2008 technical
Hi, everyone, If a drug has two forms (dosed with one form and converted to the other over time) and I have the data for the two forms, can NONMEM model that altogether? And how? Appreicate any comment. Thanks. Jun

I would suggest letting the two forms be represented by two "compartment" with interconversion rate constants.? In other words, treat this as you would if you had parent and metabolite.

Try modeling them as parent metabolite entities. Following link might be useful http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/current/2007-March/0017.html Ritesh
