Dear NONMEM Users,
Does anybody know of a drug classification system, based on pharmacokinetic considerations (e.g. mechanism of elimination, isoenzymes involved) rather than the usual ATC (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System) codes, which might not be the most relevant one when screening for drug-drug interactions in a population PK analysis?
Any references or shared experiences in this field would be very much appreciated.

We have created a list and are now testing its usefulness in population evaluations and will be writing it up in a publication shortly.
