Eli Lilly and Company has an opening available for a Senior
Pharmacokineticist in Indianapolis, IN.
In this position, you will represent the PK/PD and Trial Simulations
department and provide PK/PD/TS scientific and technical leadership in
the drug discovery, development, and commercialization process. You will
be a scientific leader in PK/PD/TS by being responsible for developing
PK/PD sections of program and product team plans. You will be expected
to lead the preparation of nonclinical, Phase I, II, and III study
protocols, conduct PK and PK/PD analysis, provide scientific
interpretation of conventional and population PK/PD data, and prepare
study reports and other scientific documents. As programs progress into
clinical development and registration, you will be responsible for the
preparation of INDs, CIBs, NDAs and other regulatory documents required
for the successful development and registration of a new
drug/indication. You will also serve as a scientific mentor to other
senior and associate scientists within the department.
This position requires a Ph.D. degree in
pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, or a Ph.D. with commensurate
experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or similar
scientific discipline. It also requires a working knowledge of software
such as NONMEM, SAS, S-Plus, and WINNONLIN.
