Career Opportunity: Group Head, Modeling & Simulation - Oncology

Merck Serono has a rare opportunity for someone to join the Oncology area of our business as a Group Head, Modeling & Simulation - Oncology based in Darmstadt, Germany, or possibly in Geneva, Switzerland. The position: you will lead a small team of scientists and provide expertise in M&S and Clinical Trial Simulation. You will influence trial designs and drug development strategies within the context of clinical/project teams and in collaboration with Clinicians, Clinical Pharmacologists and Biostatisticians. You will also support advanced population PKPD modeling, the development of disease progression models and the characterization of relationships between drug exposure and effects. Finally, you will facilitate communication with authorities and all other stakeholders. We are seeking a senior individual (6 years+ experience in PKPD Modeling, of which 4+ in BioPharma Industry and M&S applied to drug development). Experience and expertise in NONMEM is an absolute prerequisite, with Clinical Trial Simulation or other CATD software as an asset. Fluent English skills are mandatory for this position.
